It is an informal yet rich platform where conversations happen and stories of struggle and success touch the heart. These conversations lead to some very creative, eye opening and mind churning experiences. These conversations are journeys into the heart and mind of the design thinkers who have created immense difference In their world and are still striving to achieve more. The main philosophy which drives these conversations is to stimulate the mind of listeners, not only give them a pleasure but also motivate them to reach their higher goals. ANJUM RAJABALI: SCREENWRITING with Whistling Woods
He has been a professional screenwriter for 20 years with films like Drohkaal, Ghulam, The Legend of Bhagat Singh and Raajneeti to his credit.
He is the Head of Screenwriting at Whistling Woods, as well as Honorary Head of Screenplay Writing at FTII, a course that he began in 2004.
Apart from being a script consultant on several films, he also conducts workshops and seminars on screenwriting in India and abroad.
SHISHIR JENA: PATTACHITRA with Godown Pvt. Ltd.
Shishir Kumar Jena was born in an Artist Family at village Baulakhaladi under Kaptipada. He got an artistic incline in his upbringing as his father Sri Kushanath Jena is also a well-known artist in the state.
For his excellence in Pattachitra, he received CSAC STATE AWARD From Lalit Kala Academy, Bhubaneswar Odisha in the year 2000.
He is one of the very few artists who is trying to keep the ancient art of Pattachitra, or art on cloth, alive.
ANURUPA ROY: STORYTELLING THROUGH PUPPETS with Katkatha Trust
An international puppeteer with various international awards now heads KATKATHA trust. Has worked at Vani Prakashan and Salaam Baalak Trust.
Studied Puppet Theatre at DI, Dramatiska Institutet, University of Stockholm, Sweden and Scuola De la guaratelle, Naples, Italy.
She has completed her graduation from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi, India.
DORI TUNSTALL: DESIGN ANTHROPOLOGY with Pool Design Magazine
A Design Anthropologist, meaning she tries to understand how the processes and artifacts of design help define what it means to be human.
Dori is an Associate Professor of Design Anthropology at Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia as well as Associate Dean of Learning and Teaching in the Faculty of Design.
